GALLERY B "Raw & Pure" by Georgia Nassikas

Encaustic Paintings with beeswax, carbon, graphite, pigment on birch board.
In this exhibit of recent works, Georgia Nassikas uses carbon, graphite, beeswax and pigments from nature to create striking large-scale paintings with philosophically charged themes of sustainability, balance and imperiled beauty.

GALLERY C "NEARdistance" by Gale Wallar

A solo exhibition of paintings, prints and drawings. Mythical and real landscapes paintings, drawings and prints that embrace the philosophy of “coming-into-the nearness of distance.” The work conveys the reality of visible distance that does not disappear beyond a horizon line, but, upon closer inspection, reveals nearness and immediacy.
