Froggy Waiting For A Kiss
Froggy Waiting For A Kiss

Waiting
our innovative decisions
and heavy, blinding visions
bring to their knees
the seen and unseen
lives of green
the flowing streams
and breathable ether
leaving a froggy and
all fresh nature
hesitating …
waiting …
to be kissed
to be loved
Kiss the Frog
in a tale of happy ever after yore
a frog waits to be kissed
by a princess who is
repulsed-recoils-retreats
blind to his disguise
blind to his charming inner prince
her would be partner
today’s billions
of royal humans are asked by frogs
to lose self-absorption
and the quest for more than enough
to again grasp the frog’s disguise
to be kindhearted
to tenderly kiss them
to willingly marry them
and live in mutual partnership
frogs are speaking
metaphorically
for all living beings
