ROBIN HARRIS

About the Artist

Through the use of positive and negative space, motion and subject matter, Robin Harris explores the infinite possibilities of whimsy in her surreal realistic acrylic paintings. Her paintings center around movement. The goal is to completely capture the viewer’s attention enough that they become caught up in the moment. She encourages the observer to complete the motions that have been suggested through the artists manipulation of the subject matter. In other words, the viewer becomes a very real part of the process.

For over thirty years, Robin Harris was the principle of a Washington DC graphic design firm, now based in Charlottesville Virginia, her artwork has been exhibited in multiple juried exhibitions, and private collections.
