This is an introspective piece I made about finding love as a young woman in Baltimore City, using ravens as a symbol for men who pick women apart and continue to look for new sources of food. Ravens usually eat dead animals because they are known as scavenger birds, I thought it was a funny but also gruesome sort of metaphor. The piece itself represents heartbreak in a poetic and glamorous type of gore, because to love and be loved means to be vulnerable for better or for worse.
