Hear Our Voices is a solo exhibition of Janathel Shaw’s drawings and ceramic sculptures that confront the effects of racism and division on our vulnerable democracy. Shaw’s portraits and figurative sculptures exhibit her need to connect through expression, direct gaze, texture, and, in some cases, color. The artist encourages the viewer to engage in an internal dialogue with the works and listen to their messages through the varied mediums.
