PROSPECTUS

To apply to present time-based and performance work(video, film, performance, music, literature, or other time-based and interdisciplinary practices), please submit a 1- or 2-page proposal (PDF only, with any required links or images included in that document) outlining your intended presentation, and a brief artist statement and bio (a second one page maximum PDF). Proposals longer than 2 pages will not be considered.

Artists wishing to submit to this category will be asked to select if they would like to have their work be a solo event, as part/one act of a multi-artist event, durational: during an event, durational: during regular gallery hours, or online/web based. For example, if you have an 8 minute film or performance, it would likely work best as part of a larger event. Artists may be asked for additional information before selection.

This application is purposefully broad to allow artists working in unique practices the ability to submit, but your proposal should include a clear and concise idea.

There will be two opportunities to submit time-based and performance work, with deadlines on January 25 and August 24. Artists may only submit one application per round. Artists not accepted or waitlisted in the first round may resubmit but are encouraged to resubmit with an updated proposal. First round waitlisted artists will be given priority evaluation in the second round.
