“Portrait of a Trinoid as a Young Graph” - Inspired by a Trinoid Minimal Surface

According to Wikipedia, and I quote, “In differential geometry, a k-noid is a minimal surface with K catenoid openings. In particular, the 3-noid is often called a trinoid.”

It is language like that that makes people think they hate math. As near as I can tell, it means that the trinoid is a three dimensional shape that has three different openings and meets certain mathematical requirements. I could, of course, be wrong about that, but I am not wrong that it is an interesting, dynamic form.

If you really want to know the formula for a trinoid, you can find it at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-noid.
