"A Phi Interrupted" - Inspired by the Golden Ratio

Phi , represented by the symbol Φ, is an aesthetically pleasing ratio that is widely observed in art, architecture and nature. It is also known as the golden ratio, the golden mean and the divine proportion, among other names. Φ is one of the longest-known, most-studied and most-used concepts in mathematics. Almost 500 years ago BC, the Greek sculptor and mathematician Phidias used Φ to design sculptures for the Parthenon. The ratio has engaged the attention of mathematicians, scientists, biologists, artists, architects, musicians and others ever since. It can be found in art from the illustrations of Da Vinci to the modern works of Dali and Mondrian and in nature in the arrangement of leaves and branches in plants.

There’s a whole website devoted to Phi, https://www.goldennumber.net/ .
