“Grasses on Bhutan Paper II" is a monotype, a unique hand-pulled print on bark paper from Bhutan. The image size is 12“ x 12”. The frame size is 19” x 19”. The print is archivally matted and is framed in a white-washed wood frame.

Mary D. Ott is a printmaker and a painter. She studied printmaking at the Art League School in Alexandria, VA as well as at the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, DC. Her work has been included in exhibits in many parts of the United States, including California, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and the Washington, DC area.

She has received a number of awards for her work, including a purchase award grant from the District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities.

As Mary states, “Some of my work is representational, some is abstract. Much of it is inspired by nature, by trees and grasses. Color, line and texture are among the most important aspects of my work.”
