Aina Nergaard-Nammack's goal is to achieve clarity by simplifying shapes and forms. She attempts to distance herself from the reality that she sees by distorting shapes and colors. She goes through a selection process, choosing what stays on the canvas.

Realistic paintings are not her goal. Rather than merely copying what she sees, she concentrates on specific elements, transposing them to her canvas, removing details and forms she finds superfluous. She presents the fundamental essence of what she sees. She has always been interested in simplicity above all. Uncomplicated shapes and saturated colors are the trademark of her work.

SEE, EXTRACT, TRANSFORM is her mantra. The final product is simplicity and clarity.

Aina Nergaard-Nammack, originally from Spain and  Norway , received her artistic education at Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes in  Spain .
